We offer 2 types of fire door inspections.
A non invasive which is a visual inspection only and the other is an invasive inspection where we remove components to see behind them.
Remedial works
Where defects are identified during a fire door inspection, We can carry out the necessary remedial works to help restore the door assembly to the required standard.
Compartmentation
Effective fire compartmentation is an essential part of a building's passive fire protection, helping to restrict the spread of fire and smoke between areas of a property.

Non-invasive inspection
What's included: Visual inspection of the door frame, door, ironmongery and intumescent seals to check for damage and the gap between the frame and the door
Invasive inspection
What's included: A visual inspection of the door frame, door, ironmongery, intumescent seal to check for damage and measuring the gap between the frame and door. Removal of ironmongery to check for intumescent seal and removal of architrave to assess the gap between the door frame and building fabric
Reporting & outcome
Every inspection include a detailed report listing any issues found and the remedial works required to achieve full compliance.

Fire compartmentation works
Works can include:
- fire stopping around pipes, cables and service penetrations
